I saw Brave the other day, and the emotional connection was so intense I just HAD to make a series of bracelets for it.
The colors in this bracelet all tie into the visuals of the movie;
Orange = Merida’s hair
Black = Bear fur
Blue = Merida’s dress
Green = The gemstone in Queen Elinor’s crown
Brown and tan = Merida’s bow
Answer:

asdfghjkl; Thank you so much. I work really hard on them. You should try it if you have the time, it’s fun!
#butwewereokayAnd now, my favorite creation of the day.
*drumroll*
Quarantine-themed Nyan Cat. I don’t even know what inspired this, it just came to me after my sister showed me a Nyan Cat pattern. I really like it. The quarantine symbol was my own design as well as the rest of the cat’s design. I love it.
What would I call this? Quarantine Nyan Cat? Quarantinyan Cat? Quaranyan Cat?
WRECK-IT RALPH, YEEAAH.
This is my first original(ish) pattern. I took the image off the trailer and converted it to a grid pattern, then went from there. I’m really proud of it, even if it turned out kind of funky after I ironed it. I’m really excited for this movie.
Pink Yoshi with light blue spines, light blue shell, and purple shoes. Love it. The pattern was difficult to get the hang of, but I like how it came out. I plan on doing more alternate colors eventually.
My rainbow of goombas. I love these little guys. I plan on turning them into hair clips.
Moogle! The original pattern had some odd colors, so I made the wings purple, replaced the blue shading with brown, made the eyes black, and changed the ball to red. I might make multiples of these as keychains.
Why? I don’t really know.
But it looks really cool. I’m getting way more comfortable with original designs. Whoooo.
Shiny Houndoom!
This guy was particularly hard to make. I didn’t have enough shades of black/gray, so I made it shiny instead. But since there’s not a shiny version of this particular sprite, I had to convert the colors and just.. ugh. Tedious. But I like it.

Ta-da! Slowpoke. One of my favorites for reasons I don’t quite understand.

Progress shot of my kandikini. Finished the first triangle, which was tedious as hell. Especially when I made the first one too big, and this one might be too small. Because boobs are the work of the devil.
